While on a path to becoming a policeman he encountered a Fly System displayed on a work truck parked in front of the local post office. After a few conversations with the owner Johney soon found himself installing his very first System at McCoy Arabians (now McCoy Equestrian Center in Chino Hills, CA, February of 1976.) After a few years building up his own clients he branched out and started what is now Pest Away Service Co. From time to time, his son Wes (pictured right), comes to help him with installation and maintenance.
